GIPI, the solution for 4th generation ports
Besoftware Malaga technology company with 100% Spanish capital, founded in the year 2000, has successfully completed its new product for GIPI ports (Integral Intelligent Port Management Platform). The project has invested more than two years of work and has had a budget of € 374,000 co-financed by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the line of Projects of Research and Development.
The idea stems from our experience in working with different ports in Spain (Malaga, Seville, Cádiz, Gijón …) where over these years we have detected areas of improvement related to data management, the integration of different systems and over all the need to have a global and intelligent vision of all the areas of a port.
GIPI, Comprehensive Intelligent Port Management Platform, allows to manage from a single platform, all information entries regardless of the data capture technologies used, with special emphasis on the field operations that plan, assign and contract the different tasks of the operators. It connects and uses different solutions and technological platforms BPM, Cloud, Big Data, Business Intelligence, graphic visualization, IoT mapping, etc., making decision making easier and more effective, allowing to automate the processing of data at all levels of the port companies: marketing, IT, commercial services, accounting, research and development, etc.
Several ports have participated contributing ideas, we are currently in talks with several of them interested in implementing our solution.
